MATERNITY:
Expecting a little bundle of joy is such a special time. My goal is to provide you with a stress-free and relaxing portrait session. I want to create beautiful images of you when you are expecting while also making it a comfortable experience. You and your family will cherish these priceless treasures for years to come. I offer you guidance beginning to end and can include Daddy, as well as siblings during the shoot. I offer maternity gowns you can choose from too. Of course you can choose your also. I provide a large privacy changing tent to these sessions for your convenience.
***Expected Mommies should inquire during pregnancy to ensure a session date is available prior to delivery.
NEWBORNS:
Special care & safety are of the upmost importance in Newborn Portraits. The birth of a new life is a gift from above. It is an honor to be considered for these first moments of life with your new little bundle.
In our newborn session you should expect the shoot to last between 2-4 hours. However, since baby is in control, however long is needed is how long it will take. I want parents to have a relaxed stress free experience & to feel at ease. Breaks will be taken to feed, change, settle & soothe baby as needed.
Newborn sessions are done generally in the first 10 days of life. During this time newborns are still sleeping much of the day. This helps with posing. Their skin is soft & smooth. As well, they tend to sleep through most everything.
Newborn sessions will consist of @ least 3 prop set ups, wraps & various backgrounds/fabrics. We will attempt at posing, depending on baby. These can also include some with siblings &/or parents if desired. We will use newborn beds, baskets, bowls, buckets & so much more for a variety with your newborn.
Once we have confirmed your booking, I will send a "Newborn Session Prep Guide' so you know exactly what to expect as well as how to prepare for our time together. I will also provide you with a pre-session questionaire to understand your most desired poses, color combinations or set ups your prefer so that I am prepared for your shoot.
After our time together, in about 3-4 weeks you will receive an invite to your photo gallery of 20-30 fully edited images to choose your favorite 10 (or more depending on session chosen) for print or for digital download. There is also a store included to purchase photo gifts, cards, announcements & more.
***You'll want to book your newborn sessions early. The earlier in your pregnancy the better to secure availability. At times, I book out 2-3 months in advance. I will set your due date as a placeholder & adjust accordingly when baby arrives. After arrival, you'll want to let me know within 24-48 hours of delivery to then secure the definative booking.
I offer a "Bump to Baby" package to capture your Maternity portraits, as well as the Newborn Session. There is also a Milestone package to catch those oh too quick milestones during your baby's 1st year. This includes newborn, 6th month milestone, and a 12 month cake spash session to document your little one and oh so many changes in that first year. Don't forget to ask me for the details!
